Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 17, 2026

Your privacy matters to us — not as a legal formality, but as a reflection of the same intentionality we bring to everything at Pillared Wellness. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have. We've written it to be clear and honest, because that's how we operate.

Pillared Wellness is a sole proprietorship operated by Alexise in Virginia Beach, Virginia. When we say "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean Pillared Wellness.

What We Collect

We keep our data collection minimal and purposeful. Here is what we may collect and when:

  • Email correspondence: Any information you share with us via email at hello@pillaredwellness.com.
  • Event registration: Your name and contact details when you sign up for workshops, sound baths, or community gatherings.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Session cookies: Our website uses a session cookie solely for administrator login functionality (powered by better-auth). This cookie is not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics. Visitors browsing the site are not issued tracking cookies.
  • Server logs: Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used only for maintaining site security and performance.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or visitor tracking.
  • We do not process payments on our website. All payments are handled separately and offline.
  • We do not create visitor accounts or require registration to browse our site.
  • We do not use pixel tags, web beacons, or similar tracking technologies.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for these specific purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries — When you contact us, we use your name and email to get back to you.
  • To schedule and manage appointments — When you book a Virtual Vibe Check, Virtual Closet Edit, or in-home session, we use your information to confirm and coordinate your booking.
  • To communicate about our services — If you've reached out to us, we may follow up with relevant information about offerings, workshops, or community events.
  • To improve our website — We may use aggregate, non-identifying technical data to keep the site running smoothly.
  • To comply with legal obligations — We may use or disclose information when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not trade it. Period.

Third-Party Services

We work with a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our business:

  • TideSlot — Our scheduling platform. When you book a session, TideSlot receives the information you provide during the booking process. TideSlot has its own privacy practices governing how it handles your data.
  • Website hosting — Our site is hosted on infrastructure that may collect basic server logs for security and performance purposes.
  • Email provider — When we correspond with you by email, your messages pass through our email service provider.

We do not share your information with data brokers, advertisers, or any third parties for marketing purposes. We only share information with service providers who need it to help us operate our business, and only to the extent necessary for that purpose.
